Always grill at a safe distance

by Karen on June 28, 2011

Here’s a sad story from Washington state that illustrates the importance of keeping a grill and metal propane cylinder a safe distance from your home. Firefighters urge people to remember that “grills should be placed at least six feet away from any structure or vegetation such as trees or shrubs”. Also, it’s important to remember to always turn off not only the gas grill, but also the tank valve after grilling.
